The museum is supported by over 30 volunteers, aged between 19 to over 80, who regularly commit to the museum. They have repackaged some 1100 boxes and created new storage facilities transforming the collection’s care. They welcome visitors as the Front of House team when the Museum is open. The Learning Team delivers family, school, and outreach activities. In 2015, the museum welcomed its first part-time member of staff through a successful grant to the Arts Council England.
