Wharram Percy - Life in a Medieval Village

The exhibition features a stunning recreation of a village home from the period, complete with lifesize inhabitants (human and animal!). Together with fascinating detail on the replica objects featured, authentic sound effects and atmospheric lighting, it's like stepping into a time machine and going back to a medieval age.

Also featured is a recreation of the 'Finds tent' from the dig that took place at Wharram Percy, together with interactive displays and cabinets highlighting the artefacts recovered during the excavations.
