Lecture: Pots and Potteries in Medieval North Yorkshire with Dr Ailsa Mainman

Dr Ailsa Mainman was formerly the Assistant Director (Research and Publications) at York Archaeological Trust. She has worked extensively on pottery from York and elsewhere and is an acknowledged expert having published many books and articles in her field.  She has recently been working with Malton Museum to shed more light on its Saxon and Medieval pottery collections.

Access Information

This lecture will take place at Malton Museum. The lectures at Malton Museum will be held in the Assembly Rooms, which are situated up a flight of stairs. Unfortunately, due to the age of the building, there is currently no lift access available.
