Lecture: New Light on Malton’s Roman Fort with Steve Roskams

Steve Roskams is a Senior Lecturer in archaeology at the University of York, and has previously worked on excavations in Tunisia, Algeria and Beirut. He is currently leading excavations by York University which aim to clarify the changing relationships between soldiers and civilians in the settlement (vicus) to the northeast of Malton’s Roman fort.
