How Your Suppoprt Helps

Entry to Malton Museum is free and entirely run by volunteers who welcome thousands of visitors every year to discover more about Malton’s extraordinary history.

We are also an accredited museum which is independently run to keep our collection available for everyone to see through our two exhibition rooms.

We also put on events and activities for schools, families and a wide range of visitors. Malton Museum, situated in the historic Subscription Rooms in the heart of Malton, is run by and for the people of Malton and Norton.

Entry is free and therefore the Museum relies heavily on donations.

Stewardship

If you are a taxpayer then the museum will also be able to claim back the tax you have paid, helping us, even more, to keep the museum open.
