Family Workshops – Dormice and dates

Eat like a Roman, from Imperial cucumbers to Lucanian sausages, not forgetting the Roman condiment Garum, come and have a go at some of the recipes the Romans brought to Britain.

You can have a go at making some Roman bread too!

Cost

We are a charity, therefore we do charge a small fee to cover the cost of materials which is adults £1, children £1.

We are located on the B1248 Yorkersgate in Malton. Our nearest car parks are Market Place – 2 hours free parking, and Water Lane – pay and display. Our postcode for sat nav instructions is YO17 7AB. Bus and train stations are within easy reach walking  distance of the museum.
