Its arrived - our recipe book


It’s arrived. After the public appeal for handwritten recipes, which we received quite a few. Then working with food historian Peter Brears and the Malton Cookery School, who kindly tested the recipes.   Malton School even had a go at one of the recipes, a suet roll, they had to adapt the basic recipe and create something special. The winner was announced at the Malton Food Festival in May.  Now the book is finally here. It will go on sale tomorrow in the museum and costs £8.99.
